GSoC 2026 proposal demo

Healing Stones Reconstruction Lab

A browser-inspectable mini pipeline for fragmented cultural artifacts: scramble, estimate alignment, and compare residual error before touching the full 3D scan workflow.

What changed

This page now uses a generated synthetic artifact fixture instead of a mock score, so reviewers can inspect points, transforms, and alignment metrics without installing Open3D or downloading large scans.

Why this matters for project completion

The full proposal is about large, noisy point-cloud reconstruction. This demo closes the reviewability gap: a mentor can open one URL, see the alignment concept, inspect a fixture, and understand how the same interface can later swap in real PLY-derived model outputs.
